If money no problems, can try timber ceiling using floorboards. I used those b4 for some of my clients. Already more than 15 years and still going strong.

If water leakage, easy to spot as the floorboards will delaminated. So far touch wood, no leaks. Electricians will get pissed off though because it will take them a long time to cut open the holes for lights and reroute the wirings.
