there are several questions would like to clarify before making my best choice for mine next purchase (original digital copy).


1. Why Shopee seller selling softwares/games (eg: 4K downloader, window, video editor, AV, etc) {old games) way cheaper than official website?
2. Are SW / Games sell at Shopee is original digital copy?
3. If it is illegal SW / games, why shopee allow them out there?
3. If it is legal SW / games, why so cheap than official website? (bulk? sharing acc? cheating?)

Isn’t it easier you ask the seller? Your question is too broad based

Anyway, it’s likely illegal or a loophole with risk of account being banned if it’s too cheap. Whatever you’re interested, just a simple google for that specific game/software, you’ll know. For an example, some share switch games accounts but selling it as a game which can get their account banned.

Shopee is not able to filter these things or don’t care. Only when there’s an official complaint from OEM they will clampdown. AliExpress was/is the same. Buat tak tahu until someone complain.

TBF I’ve bought original steam keys before. As above, it is easier you ask the seller directly. Most will ignore you, and likely those are illegal.

I see. terrible, allow illegal sell like legal to confuse buyer.

1 and 2, no, usually pirated/cracked software, they send a download link to you (illegal)
3, Shopee cant monitor that much since they got so many sellers and items, there are plenty of scam/fake microsd/usb/hdds on there
4. piracy, so anything is profit to them, they can sell for 50 cents and is still profit for something that basically costs 0 to them (outside of labor of handling the order)

I should add, there are also a few on this forum, just sitting a few threads below this thread at the time of posting. I tried reporting but no action taken by LYN...
