I would like to ask any user who has experienced EVPAD 5P freeze/hang on start up? The home screen did not load even I try to reboot.
Do let me know how to solve it...thanks

I have a UBox and when it hang sometime you need to reboot a few time before it turn normal. I am not sure what actually when wrong.
I do suspect that the storage may have been overwhelm so much so that there is no space for booting correctly. So now i will delete of some of the files that has been taking place but of not much effect on the system. So far it less such issue.

So try a few reboot and be patient.

If that dont work then the best bet is to do a factory reset. since it is a freeze on Startup, you may not able to reset it within the system. I believe there should be a hard reset button usually at
the back of the box near the HDMI socket (check for a small pin hole).

Remember try at own risk.

I'd experienced same issue. This troubleshooting steps help me, not once but 3times now. Im using evpad 5s since 2years+.
On the right of ur box, in between usb port, there's reset button.
Use pin to reset it
Before turn on ur device, press this button
Ur box will appeares red light.
Leave it for 1 min
Off n turn on back ur device. If still unable to repeat again.
This time after u press reset button, press ur stock remote power button.
It will turn off ur device, then use ur stock remote to turn it back on.
It shld able to load to main menu.

On another note , is EVPAD even still working ? Been a week since the service went down. Using an EVPAD 3S

I'm also using 3S.
Some channels ending with -2 were working after I installed DNS from their appstore but yesterday they were gone again

Is there an update we need to download or just leave it as it is ?

I checked the appstore and install the update if it hasn't updated.

Some people with 5X and 6P already can watch certain channel. If you are runnign older version I think still cannot.
Your best bet is to buy IPTV app from shopee to install, while waiting for evpad to fix their server.

Yes, me too. Are you still using it? Mine lately keeps rebooting and I'm still pondering on whether to try reset it as some messages here

Just try the reset and see how it goes.

Didn’t need to press reset. Suddenly the box works back perfectly now. Don’t know what happened.

it will happen again. i have this issue long ago. I think is the storage issue. Try to keep some storage for buffer and when the buffer area has been fully utilise
and there is no more space left then the system at startup could not find enough space to setup the system and it usually will try to delete some cache space
and after a few attempt it has enough space it work again.
This usually happen after a few year where those space use up is not reclaim.
doing a factory reset help but it will soon return once u installed too many app.

I have since not been using tv box any more, now i installed on smart google tv. Has been a years already not sure
the same problem will come or not.

Definitely will happen again, because those china TV box only 16gb/32gb storage. That's why when using such TV box try not to install other app but keep only to the livetv app. But if you have time and also willing to actively find source for livestream then can make your own playlist like bro Philippng.

Thank for the complement, yes setting up your own iptv/vod with resource you can find on the web is fun and free.
Well, i am a retiree i just take is as a hobby to search for more resource and learn how to extract link from some mag secure playlist using some support app.
With those tools you could be surprise that the quality of those url playlist could be such a quality, some even better than those come with tvbox.
With many chinese developer and opensource some of those chinese tvbox app is far more superior that those standard app from playstore.

I am enjoying fishing for quality source and hope those that got a chance to enjoy my creation enjoy as well.

Today, i am learning how to support my friends with remote access into their smart tv. Still have not found and answer.
Anyone know how to do it, please share

After connect the pc my still no response

Damm my evpad got problem ..unable to reflash the software despite the image file is send from evpad server
