as for tyre change,
can anyone suggest me a more cost-efficient replacement for PS4?
previously I brought a set-of-two PS4 China-Made, Year 2020 for RM600 each (from Batu Pahat)

currently driving 2006 Estima
usually crusing at 100-120kmH only (rarely go till 160kmH, unless got someone poked)
- looking for comfort & good grip (rarely for speeding)

thanks for advices & suggestions

can look for hankook prime 3 (K125) or hankook S1 Evo 3 (K127), very cost efficient tyres unless you want to compare with the price of china made tyres

Is it front or rear tyres?

Uneven wear between inside and outside edges?

It is still serviceable as no canvass/fibres is exposed yet.

I suspect your wheel alignment has problems. Any abnormal drifting to one side, noise, steering unsteady turning either left or right?

previously at the rear, just rotated to the front during balancing & alignment (yeah, I forgot to do alignment after 15k+ travel )

I just noticed it for the past 2months

Imho this tyre picture displays a kind of unusual tyre wear.

This 'unusual' tyre wear phenomenon, if true and real (as I'm purely speculating base on your single picture without the benefit of full set of alignment readings of front and rear wheels) is NOT for lack of redoing alignment lately after 15K km travel on your part but related to alignment readings done 15K kms ago, which for some reasons was accepted as 'good' such as all greens etc .

Recheck your existing Front and Rear wheels alignment readings by a competent alignment tech and making alignment adjustment accordingly to mitigate the wear pattern problem (to me).

Can still use. Michelin is quite common to have such chipping off but it won't compromise the tire integrity.
If want to change, can try below cheaper alternatives:
Hankook S1 Evo 3
Falken Azenis FK510
Goodyear F1 Sport
Continental MC6
Maxxis I-Pro

First time buy Michelin? laugh.gif

Michelin got a lot of manufacturing plants around the world from Thailand, China & also Europe.
Even same PS4 model different size or batch might come from different countries depending on which manufacturing plant is doing it at the time order.
They will just assure you that the quality is the same.
