Hi all...just starting to learn Illustrator. Does anyone know how to create a shadow curve effect like the picture below?
Just like the example, looking for a "pop-up" effect for the artwork. Thanks all!

There are various methods to do it. Personally, I'd use Offset Path, Ungroup the result, change the fill of the outer shape and nudge the inner shape as needed, or if you're slightly more advanced, edit the anchor points of the corners of the inner shape to get the exact dimensions you want.
