Bumping this thread for some updates.

My prescription is high and was quoted over 3k for a pair of Hoya 1.74 Lifestyle 3i range multifocals.

Unfortunately am getting old and my reading has deteriorated. It is my first time using multifocals and I was surprised at how much more the lenses cost vs single vision ones.

Any suggestions on how to save some $$?
