So my Mi Stick updated android and now there's some stupid thing called Enhanced Viewing / Alphonso Recommendations. I can only see bad things on it from a quick google search, but can't find anything about removing it. Not sure if its possible... thoughts?

Obviously, I turned off that stupid Enhanced Viewing thing but there's some articles about that stupid app using the microphone on phones to listen in. Nothing about tv sticks though...

I'm not happy at all

If you are familiar with ADB then you can try removing it by using this command:
CODE
pm uninstall -k --user 0 tv.alphonso.alphonso_eula

You can also use ADBAppControl(GUI) software on PC which is very easy to use to disable bloatware on your device if you are familiar with Android ecosystem.

There are other apps you might wanna disable:
1. com.xiaomi.android.tvsetup.partnercustomizer
2. com.miui.tv.analytics
3. com.mitv.tvhome.atv (patchwall)
4. android.autoinstalls.config.xioami.mibox3

if it can run without the power input than it should be a better option. Many a time it is because the power is not sufficient and u need to add usb power.

I think it is a good thing that it work without the power.
