Is USB cable matter on the transfer speed of data

It doesn't really matter, the USB-C to Lightning cable that comes in the box is sufficient because Apple did not bother to upgrade the Lightning nor USB-C standard to USB 3 speeds or above (5Gbps), basically Lightning is stuck at 480Mbps
