That is possible.  Sometimes, a person suffering from depression might not know it's depression he/she suffering.  It suck the person in soooo deep and dark until could even think of suiciding.    It's understandable parents need to be strict but cannot train their kids like SEAL.

Maybe social media negativity has a hand in this...
