While replacing the broken speaker.
I also ordered a replacement battery for the iPad2, because the original battery charge cycle already 520 with 77%.
After I have taken apart the iPad, I found out that the original battery has a chip in it, but the replacement battery doesn't have it.
Anyone knows what is the chip function from the original battery? The seller claim it's original, but where is the missing chip?
I've checked all the sellers from Shopee. All their replacement battery missing a chip as well and their sales are pretty high.
So far I don't see any ppl complaint about it.

I've checked the battery, found a word "mxz" looks like it is manufacture by this company in China.

I also checked the ifixit replacement battery, it doesn't have the chip as well.
