look at that 1st item from this websiteRSKU. Is the article still relevant as of today:
1. Is all the RSKU consider low cost?
2. After moratorium, do we still need permission to sell RSKU?

Tempoh pemilikan hartanah mestilah mencukupi 5 tahun daripada tarikh perjanjian jual beli / kontrak lelongan sebelum boleh dijual semula (sub-sale).

Had jumlah pendapatan bakal pembeli atau isi rumah (suami dan isteri) di tetapkan berdasarkan julat harga pasaran hartanah seperti di JADUAL 1 di bawah :

Julat Harga Pasaran
(Jenis A/RKR/KSR/ setaraf dengannya)

Had Pendapatan Isi Rumah dibenarkan (RM)

1.RM 100,000.00 dan ke bawah ...... 5,000.00

2.RM 100,001.00 - RM 250,000.00 ..... 9,000.00

3.RM 200,001.00 - RM 300,000.00 ..... 12,000.00

4.RM 300,001.00 - RM 500,000.00 ..... 15,000.00

5.RM 500,001.00 dan ke atas ..... Tidak tertakluk

Bakal pembeli atau pasangan (suami/isteri) TIDAK MEMILIKI SEBARANG RUMAH DI NEGERI SELANGOR (Terpakai bagi Bil. 1, 2 dan 3 sahaja – Jadual 1) ;.

Bakal pembeli atau pasangan (suami/isteri) HENDAKLAH MENETAP ATAU BEKERJA DALAM NEGERI SELANGOR ATAU DALAM KAWASAN LEMBAH KLANG.

Bagi kes-kes Pindah Milik kasih sayang/rela hati tanpa paksaan yang tiada hubungan kekeluargaan dan belian/pemilikan secara lelongan dari tarikh mementerai kontrak lelongan (Perisytiharan Jualan) masih tertakluk kepada syarat tempoh 5 tahun.

Selain daripada kes di atas seperti pesaka dan perintah mahkamah tidak tertakluk kepada syarat-syarat kebenaran pindah milik. Walau bagaimanapun, PENERIMA MASIH PERLU BERDAFTAR DENGAN LPHS MENGIKUT PROSEDUR PERMOHONAN KEBENARAN PINDAH MILIK.

Rumah Awam Kos Rendah (RAKR) yang dilucuthak dan diberimilik kepada LPHS untuk tujuan penjualan semula kepada orang awam akan tertakluk kepada had pendapatan dan syarat-syarat permohonan kebenaran pindah milik seperti di Jadual 1 memandangkan harga jualan adalah berdasarkan penilaian semasa dan kos baik pulih.

Can RSKU units be rented out five years after the signing of SPA? Or they can only be rented out five years after VP?

I think will follow SPA. Even rumawip moratorium also starting counting from SPA.

it's AFFORDABLE HOUSING, not low cost. Even rumawips are affordable housing, some developer make it very nice, some developer make it like shit. Again, really have to depends on the developer.

i think it is still relevant, some of their project was at a good location.

regarding the renting option, it very loose contract clause, there is no legal action yet taken to owner that rent their unit

Meaning is that, once a leasehold, forever a leasehold, consent required.

Once a low cost, forever a low cost, consent required.

I mean the below statement is not accurate when every leasehold not just RSKu need consent before selling:

This inevitably restricts the value of RSKU houses in the secondary market, as the unit cannot be treated as a free-market product.

It doesnt matter because the reason for consent is to prevent unqualified buyer to own such houses. It helps to reduce speculation 'investment'.

There are property in Kelana Jaya which are freehold and requires state consent.

It is the policy and the intention of the govt. Nothing you and me can do. Know what one is buying.

One can buy non govt housing if intention is to speculate.

RSKU are for own stay, at least for the first 5 years IINM. If it is rented out, and someone reports it, LPHS has the right to take action.
