Previously, I use a normal garden water hose to connect water supply to my bidet. Although it's ugly, the water supply is strong. Pressure is good.

Then, I replace my bidet water connection line with a proper & nicer looking hose. Water pressure drop a lot.

I think this is due to the inner diameter of the hose. The garden hose is approx 15mm while the proper bidet/shower hose is only 7mm. This greatly restricts water flow.

Is there a water hose with bigger diameter that comes with hex 1/2" connection?

Is not the diameter but water pressure.

Also sometimes the bidet inner rubber hose can be twisted.

if source water pressure remains the same,
smaller diameter of the bidet should hv result in higher pressure no?

like how u partially close the hose opening to pancut further

I think there is a filter at the outlet nozzle of the bidet. You can try to remove that filter to see if the flow improves

Hose not twisted. New hose.

That's what I thought. But a bigger diameter gives more water flow.

No filter at both ends of the hose connection.

New hose also can have defects. Try another hose to confirm.

Water flow and pressure are different measurement. It doesnt have the 'power' to 'push' through the small diameter.

A pressure cooker pot cooks faster than a normal cooker.

Maybe metallic hose (the one I bought) has smaller diameter? Is it possible?

If your water source is from the tank, more likely that is what you get.

Try to connect to a main source....sure there is a difference. If there is none, then is the hose problem.

It's not about the source. The source is constant. Difference is just the hose, which change how powerful the bidet is.
But do all hoses have the same inner diameter?

Same for that size.

You can try this non flexible type to see if there is a difference ...

If your water heater hose is of the above, just interchange to test or vice versa
