Yeah you do need to visit CIMB branch to renew it there's no online method I think.

Already done it past year end of July while my expiry date was December this year. At first CS declined she asked me to come back end of this year.

The problem is I might have no time to queue up again or busy with other matters couldn't come to bank. After second time pleading and agreed to pay the RM15 extra charge only she let me in. Very unpleasant experience.
