Rick Astley, LOL. People always post his vid on some famous boards that dont allow youtube attachment and some people fall victim to it and click on the link. YOU GOT RICK ROLL'D!! BTW, i like Phil Collins a lot especially his song Another Day in Paradise. The Police's Message in A Bottle intro guitar riff is the coolest ever.

QUOTE(Thumpy Ick @ Sep 26 2007, 11:00 PM) yea.....i got real excited when i hear a familiar tune in GTA Vice City playing on d radio. but then it got twisted n JoJo's voice came out. n it was like..... duh. i never thought of the original song the same way again..... Yeah I agree with you, I love Toto -Africa. But stupid Jojo ruin the song, God I hate her for just that. Please for God sake don't make a stupid remix of the beautiful oldies song. The only person who song the old song the right way is Michael Buble. Other than that just a retard who just want popularity

I was once saw the Vinyl in the KL audio show. I am Not a typical vinyl people. So, i abandoned the plan to grab it. My favo dance track is "Drive-On" & the most sweetest love song- "When will i see you again never die" in my heart until today~!. Starship - Sara, We Built This City and my favourite Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now
Someone mentioned Duran Duran, here's my favourite The Reflex, Wild Boys, A View to a Kill (one of the best bond movie song), Planet Earth, Girls on Film, Hungry like a Wolf, etc
Another one of my favourite bond movie song For Your Eyes Only by Sheena Easton
One of the best music video in the 80's was Take on Me by Ah Ha
Wake me up before you Go Go by Wham (I know its a bit gay but I like the song)
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, She-Bop (fun song), The Goonies 'R' Good Enough (from a good but forgotten Spielberg kid movie), True Colors and Time after Time by Cyndi Lauper
Everybody Wants to Rule The World and Shout from Tears for Fear
Wild, Wild West by Escape Club
Rock Me Amadeus by Falco (stupid song but very catchy)
Turn Back the Clock by Johnny Hates Jazz
Through the Barricades and True by Spandau Ballet
La Luna and Circle in the Sand by Belinda Carlisle
Forever Young by Alphaville (one hit wonder)
Addicted To Love by Robert Palmer (who can forget the MTV)
Nothing Compares to You by Sinead O Connor
I Think We're Alone Now by Tiffany
Anything from Lionel Ritchie and Madonna in the 80's were good
Not really 80's but early 90's Roxette Listen to Your Heart, Dangerous, The Look, etc
Aiyoh the list are too long. Anyone remember the show Top of the Pops?

I can never bored with Stock Aitken Waterman production. Most of their produced songs are those happy go lucky type. I used to listen to Jason Donovan a lot last time. His first 2 album is still the best

Getting Started

|
Cool thread guys! Been feeling kinda nostalgic for awhile now and just started my blog on retro music in the 80s and 90s last month. My fav: US - mostly R&B and Motown like New Edition, Bobby Brown. UK - everyone and everything to do with New Wave and New Romantics. Depeche Mode and Spandau Ballet are da bombs!
