Regarding the wifi card, Lenovo (and other manufactures) used to use only Intel AX200 cards for wifi
But then chip shortages. So now Lenovo just says "wifi 6 card" And it's a lottery of either Intel, Mediatek or Realtek branded wifi 6 cards depending on what's in stock
Of course, the Intel card is the best. With that said you can buy one for ~RM100 and replace yourself
Just remember to replace back the stock one if you ever need to send it in for repairs

QUOTE(acbc @ Mar 26 2022, 10:25 AM) Be careful as Lenovo tend to blacklist third-party cards as they did on ThinkPads. U will need to buy cards with Lenovo FRU printed on the label to be compatible. I had trouble looking for a 4G WAN card for my L440 once. Sellers at Shopee all selling the same thing and each stated no Lenovo FRU required. So I bought one and the laptop refused to boot. I then sold it off at Carousell and bought another from Lazada which has the Lenovo FRU printed on it. Works like a charm. The same goes for WiFi cards. Anything that uses the M.2 slot has to be certified by Lenovo. Most of the AX200 cards sold online don't. It seems that Lenovo has stopped doing that nowdays on newer machines I know someone with a legion, came with Mediatek wifi, replaced with an generic Intel AX210 and it worked just fine

QUOTE(vanguard_15 @ Mar 31 2022, 12:06 AM) Which would be a better choice actually, the AX200 or the AX210? AX210 supports wifi 6E, AX200 just wifi 6 AVOID AX201 and AX211 as those are CNVIO and will only work on Intel systems.

QUOTE(vanguard_15 @ Mar 31 2022, 01:18 PM) What does the E from the 6E stand for? Since mine is a MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921, I guess AX200 is the right option? A new standard, newer than 6, but it's even rarer to find in the wild Wifi 6E routers are also pretty rare Intel explains it here https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/pro...s/wi-fi-6e.htmlBut if the price difference isn't too big you could get AX210 to future proof it

I think it's best you try it yourself and decide, but in the end the Intel AX200/210 is still the king of wifi 6 cards

I have no experience with either
If anything, Asus is using the Mediatek cards in their gaming laptops. Both are huge players in the market though It honestly depends on a lot of factors
