I think most ppl who use 1+ also bcoz it stock android . Realme is actually quite a good phone with features I like. 1+ just too stock for me previously. Had tried the realme since realme x2 pro. Now currently using mi 12 p. But wanted to try this realme gt2 pro later

What your mainly point for mediatek? Gaming or photo? Because if u going for photo quality, mediatek doesnt doing good , smapdragon 888 , 8gen1 stil have the best AI output camera quality, if for gaming then no doubt mediatek is doing cold with low watt

Even the samsung s22ultra using same camera sensor , same lens , same set up , everything same , BUT with different SoC which is Snapdragon 8gen1 / Exynos 2200 , the final output picture will be different Mediatek 8100 , 9000 stil new , alot of company stil not fully optimize the games/apps unless u play chinese games alot , from the games test compare to 8gen1 mediatek can be very high average FPS let say genshin impact 58.9 average FPS , but the FPS graph very unstable , keep up and down like 60 55 60 54 60 56 60 57 60 like this , while 8gen1 maybe lose in average FPS 57.8 FPS , but the grap show very stable FPS which 60 59 60 59 60 59 60 59 , 8gen1 lose in average FPS is because when heat reach certain amount , then it will drop and limit the FPS until the heat is recover and push back to normal FPS , so if u adding 1 cooling fan , running full 60fps for a long period isn't a problem can't say 8100 9000 is bad but we have to admit that its really is another good chip for gaming What the main point of gaming for a end user like us - Less heat , comfort to hold - Have best battery life so the 8100 9000 meat this criteria which less heat , use less watt compare to 8gen1 But if u going for camera picture quality , no doubt for current time , snapdragon stil doing very very well If u all could wait more longer period , the coming snapdragon isnt tune by samsung anymore...the 888/8gen1 tune by samsung really make alot of mobile factory headache about the HEATING problem Sampai redmi k50 Gaming edition have to use until DOUBLE VC Cooling plate to cooling down this 8gen1 fire dragonWhat i see from the china news that 8gen1 PLUS might not tune by samsung anymore, hopefully heard some good news from 8gen1 PLUS This post has been edited by chongkiatz: Mar 29 2022, 10:20 AM |

I got almost scammed in a YT Channel Gizmochina, i commented and suggested to have a head 2 head of Gt2 pro and K50 Pro and someone replied with the same logo of gizmochina and provided a whatsapp number and says that im one of lucky winner to receive a prize/giveaway, since during the last scene of video there is a giveaway mention by the host.
Tried to bring my whatsAppp alive immediately and message number, and he followed up again with the congrats stuff and the prize includes K50 Pro and Airdot bud( would like to share a screenshot but the upload image required me to signup which im lazy to do haha) i got excited 1st, then he brought up this option of couriers thats ranges 140$ to 150$ ... And confirmed that i will shoulder the courier expenses and i should pay him thru paypal.. then he sent this isaacbaker45@gmail.com account which makes me think ok, let me check that YT channel again the commented on YT Gizmochina ... Anyone here aldy received the device from shopee. Heard tat shopee screw up the delivery process. My fren ordered 25/3 till now not ship out. Seller been extending the shipment date from 30/3 to 2/4 n now to 4/4. .Seller excuse said cannot cxl cos aldy ship out but got problem with logistic partner which not update in the system. Haha i guess they don't have enough stock on hand.

From my pass experience buying preorder phone from poco , china/hk warehouse are really funny , because the earlier u order , the late u will receive , i think they start packing from the last order and backward until the first order.... That make slow order receive fast and fast order receive late

Finally had some free time to unpack and set up the phone this evening. A few things I noticed off the bat:
1. voLTE and voWIFI were there as soon as I inserted my Digi SIM. 2. Realme OS 3 feels pretty similar to Oxygen OS 12 (both with Color OS 12 foundation?) 3. Phone feels nice in hand and I didn't notice any temperature issue at this early stage. 4. I think there was some bloatware pre-installed. Some can be uninstalled, a few I can only disable. I've decided to set my GT2 Pro up as a new phone to avoid migrating unnecessary crap from the Oneplus 8T. Not planning to restore apps and data from my old phone but will likely transfer my photo/video collection and maybe whatsapp data too. It's gonna take me a few days to get all this done. Got some bugs.
Holding power button cannot shutdown/restart. I have to download an app from Play Store. Battery -> Advance Settings -> App Quick Freeze I can use this morning but it's not working now. It instant close when I tab it. |

Just got mine.. annoyed a bit.. so many things to do.. Do you guys sign in to their os? my 1st time using other than sammy... will factory reset helps uninstall so many rubbish? HELP!!

So I factory reset and reinstall all apps manually. Optimized my phone with built-in App Quick Freeze. Overnight (1:30am to 7:30 am,with Data/WIFI turned off) battery drained 2%. Only Phone Manager is running, no other apps trying hard to drain battery.
Btw, Multi-Screen Connect is a great app to connect with PC, you can copy PC text and paste it on the phone. Bluetooth no problem, connected my gadgets easily. i am facing some issue in Online Payment App.
When ever i open Online Payment App example Foodpanda / Grab or Shoppe , i cant open the online payment page in the app, its always hang or logout itself. i dont face these issue in other models such as Samsung , Xiaomi.. Only facing these issue in Realme & Oppo Models. Anyone face this ? |

Oh damn, bad luck for me. Looks like my GT2P has a hardware fault. Strange issue with the speakers persists even after 2 full wipes and fresh installs.
I’ve sent a message to the Realme official store on Shopee and was given a post-sales support center number and address in PJ. Wish me luck, guys. |

Last night I was messing with the phone, I don't know why, even though my current phone is the Realme X2 Pro with RealmeUI 2.0 but I felt 3.0 is like a new thing over again. I charged 50% for 16 minutes. Damn, can't remove some bloatware from Realme UI using adb cmd. Gotten the Failure [DELETE_FAILED_INTERNAL_ERROR]. It's pretty much a hit and miss even with my older Realme X2 Pro as well. acid_head liked this post

The orange one would be the lock screen where the fingerprint sensor is located. When it's Super Vooc or etc it is orange in colour. Normal charging will be blue in colour. Anyone who has the GT 2 pro can try using the camera night mode and go to a dark area or just take a picture at a darker area see is there purple tint colour ?
Yesterday when i install all apps on the phone and play around with the camera was ok. Today i tried with the night mode camera it become purple tint colour. Attached thumbnail(s)

Camera quality is a lot better compared to my old Realme X2 pro which I had to use GCAM app for more color accurate photos. Unfortunately, the speakers are not great. Just noticed that the flashlight on my phone only uses the top led, but flash when taking photos uses both. Is this normal? Or flashlight supposed to be using both led as well?

Bypass charging is when you play games you have options to stop the charge when you connect the cables |
