My son tried 5g last month using the free-addon from Digi on his gt2 pro (and me on my iphone 13 pro max). it's ok but personally I don't think it's worth the RM10 extra per line that Digi is asking for it.

I'm on digi postpaid 60 and he's on a family 20 supp line.

How's the user experience of GT2 pro? Is it still worth to get it now? Am looking to switchover from OnePlus 8 after suffered the screen line issue. Currently considering this and pixel 7.
My priority: good camera, volte and vowifi is a must, good charging speed/battery life.
In dilemma as saw mixed feedback on camera performance of gt2 pro, on the other hand pixel 7 is behind in battery/ charging area . Thanks in advance for advice

the affected user must go to official service center in china to obtain unlock code to unlock the 4g/5g function. and not every seller will entertain case like this

so be careful when buying oneplus/realme phone meant only for china market from shopee / lzd/FB reseller

these are newest models that are chinese exclusive (no global version):

1. Oneplus Ace 2 (aka 11R)
2. Oneplus Ace 2V (nord 3 is based on this model)

3. Realme GT NEO 5 150W
4. Realme GT NEO 5 SE

but even though these models got global version still got chance region lock if buy from china
1. Oneplus 11
2. Realme GT NEO 5 240w (aka GT 3 240w)
3. Realme 11 series

Just buy from fastech Lim mentioned below. If kena region lock also he can settle. But neo 5 150W if use global rom, auto update won't work. So if want to use global rom, better get the 240W model.

Not all will kena region lock anyway. As far as I understand, if kena region lock, they will send it to oppo center to unlock. No need to send back to overseas.

Tldr about realme network lock (for 2023 and beyond models)

1. If bought from shopee mo**ar, he is just dropshipper, if kena network lock you can only shoot him or at most mcmc complaining him but nothing else you can do if he refuse to unblock

2. GT neo 5 240 (NOT including SE) will be the last model to be unlockable by local realme Malaysia service center, with proof like passport in/out from china (within 7days) and original china receipt

3. Realme (and oneplus) wants to control more strictly outflow of Chinese models possible due to profit margin

4. Future CN models after gt neo 5 (including neo5 se,11 series and upcoming GT5/GT5pro/GTneo6) can only really unlocked from Chinese realme service centre with legit original china receipt

5. As you already know, the unlock code is 99 alpha numerical combination after you obtain from service centre

6. After unlocking, will persists across software factory reset. But will bind to motherboard code. If replaced motherboard will be locked back
