Saw some YT review on gt2 pro steel black, honestly looks plain but still looks good though im thinking the long term vs the paper feel and every day use..

Should be same weight as other flagship with glass back right?

No official IP rating but saw YT review on this device submerged to water in 30secs with paper back.. and it survived! Haha so whats more if its steel back right? Haha just assuming

Its subjective depending on own experience

But on paper spec 189 white bio plastic / 199 g steel black glass

Just relatively lighter compared to some flagship from S or A

Will put on the case anyway. Doesn't matter it is white or black

Yeah, but need to consider which material is more resistive to scratch, smudge. Some cases will leave some scratches or smudges on the phone surface

Edit: reason of maybe there is no IP rating for splash/water resistant due to paper like style, if it's good within 30 seconds under water, what's more if it's steel black right?

If you guys watch the teardown video, all of the opening comes with rubber gasket. Just ordered yesterday via shopee, main downside for me for this phone is no expandable SD storage option and headphone jack, comparing to my current Xperia 5 II. Looking for a case, any suggestions?

Which color did you buy?

Went with white, was looking forward to the green though. Have enough black phone already

i think no reason for not going for white this round , because that the most special point for this realme gt 2 pro....not to mention it more light at 189gram ...after slap a case + temp glass it stil very light weight , for long term use is very great

Nah it is always cost concerns that they didn't bother with certification of IP, just like previous Oneplus models

anyone here have idea if this phone will support VoLTE on Celcom? Thought of getting one for my dad

Global unit mostly can be use VoLTE , why not get iphone mini for your dad ? old people more suitable with ios as it more easy to use

He too used to Android phone and I did test the waters with him about Iphone Mini... he don't like it lol

Wow 1000 unit guess it sold more than xiaomi 12 and edge 30 pro combine in a week

owh if he base is android phone then it's okey , i give my dad samsung phone ...wau he really blur to use it ...because samsung have too many setting that sometime he accidently trigger on and dunno how to off back
