Looks like mine arriving soon as well.
Now... How do I transfer all my contacts, apps, Whatsapp messages etc over from my oneplus 6 to this new phone?

Anyone can help me out?
*
Just connect google on new phones and your apps and contacts will be SYNCed. Keep in mind that google only install your apps, you need to login all apps.
Whatsapp also can backup and restore but I think it's limited to text messages. If you want to full backup, you need to connect your old phone to pc and copy whatsapp folder. Can search for google or youtube for tutorial.

Bro, perhaps you can consider to cover/mask your tracking number to reduce the risk of unwanted issue.

Yup, got my phone today and been using for half a day d.. Just some first things I noticed since switching over from oneplus 6 is that the phone gets pretty hot on normal usage as compared to the oneplus and the display colours isn't as vivid and nice as compared to my oneplus 6..

Battery wise can only comment as initial setting up and things of the new phone burned through 60% battery in 3 hours.. Maybe I can give an update after a few days of usage

Other than that, no complaints.. Still getting used to the OS though

is it heating up because u are transferring data? or it is really just under normal usage like surfing internet and youtubing?

You can change the color scheme. Vivid color is not accurate but most of people like it. Saw a battery drain time lapse on youtube and it is really good.

Probably due to transferring of data and constantly switching between apps to set up everything properly.
After a few hours everything seems quite normal.. But definitely feels warmer compared to my oneplus 6

Yup, had it changed to vivid, on low brightness the colour is really terrible compared to the oneplus, even my wife can notice from far away.
However on high brightness, both screens look very similar

Can't wait to get mine. I used to like vivid color but now I prefer color accuracy. Anyway, even my 2 eyes have slightly different color. My right eye shows warmer and vivid color and my left eye shows cooler color.

Actually I noticed its not the screen colour issue, it's the UI issue whereby the homescreen apps and wallpaper colour looks moody and greyish. Colours for the apps and wallpaper on homescreen just doesn't look nice.
When enter apps like insta, fb, YouTube the colours looks really good.

Also, I've been comparing and the phone is noticeably hotter with normal usage and battery drain is quite bad actually

you choose dynamic setting?

Usually new phones will have update alot of update behind the scene, it will getting better after a while. Remember to restart your phone

They said, during initial set up gen1 might be calibrating with the battery reason its hot and drain fast. Not so sure about it though if its true
