China market they mostly power user like to play mobile games like king glory, pubg china or gensh** game, also like to use heavy apps like wechat, tiktok, shopping app that are very resources intensive. That's why they can rasa the hotness of samseng fab snap


Rest of world, seems like not as demanding or play store make sure most app not resources intensive. I personally only use WhatsApp as main chat app because not so resources intensive, but some local shopping apps or ewallet apps inherited the china dna become resources intensive (eg Sho***, laz***, tng)

Not happening and going borderline offtopic, lenovo marketing is very poor for their motorola phones here. No offline store presence at all.

so be careful when buying oneplus/realme phone meant only for china market from shopee / lzd/FB reseller

but even though these models got global version still got chance region lock if buy from china

dont buy from mommar (shopee), because this cannot help unlock if sim region lock

Tldr about realme network lock (for 2023 and beyond models)

1. If bought from shopee mo**ar, he is just dropshipper, if kena network lock you can only shoot him or at most mcmc complaining him but nothing else you can do if he refuse to unblock

2. GT neo 5 240 (NOT including SE) will be the last model to be unlockable by local realme Malaysia service center, with proof like passport in/out from china (within 7days) and original china receipt

3. Realme (and oneplus) wants to control more strictly outflow of Chinese models possible due to profit margin

4. Future CN models after gt neo 5 (including neo5 se,11 series and upcoming GT5/GT5pro/GTneo6) can only really unlocked from Chinese realme service centre with legit original china receipt

5. As you already know, the unlock code is 99 alpha numerical combination after you obtain from service centre

6. After unlocking, will persists across software factory reset. But will bind to motherboard code. If replaced motherboard will be locked back
