If you intend to get treatment by the Doktor Pakar, you need to visit the Klinik Kesihatan first ( don't go Klinik Komuniti, they don't issue recommendation letter / MC). After meeting up the doctor at KK, they will write you a recommendation based on your illness / conditions to the nearest Hospital ( with the specialist ).

Your first attempt at KK will consume a lot of the time. Your 1st meet up with the specialist at the Government Hospital will consume a lot of your time. Your following visit / follow up visit, it will be smoother as there are pre-set date of appointments.

Yes, it is free for the KK at the small towns. At the big cities, you need to pay.
