My plan is change to Bridgestone Potenza RE004 but tire shop doesn't have this stock and recommend yokohama advan fleva v701 to me .


currently plan to change new setup .

Old setup
16" LENSO dyna jager with 16" TOYO CR-1

New setup
Rims 15" Advanti Strom S1 with 15" Bridgestone POTENZA RE004

Was wandering yokohama advan fleva v701 still ok for year 2022 since it was launch many years ago .

Yea its great tire but noisy after 40 percent use ( noise compared to ps4)

It grips well in dry. In wet dont know coz i never speed in wet for fear of oil slick

Am using fleva v701. Very loud. Was wondering if change to ps4 any improvement or not? If not will go with primacy 4.

Why not ask the shop to order laa if want Potenza RE004.. If main distributor got stock usually 2~3 days or around 1week can get already..

If not how tire shop get their stock? You tot their tires fall from the sky?
Some tire shop purposely dont want to tell you as they want to clear their in-house available stock first.

RE004 better. Fleva often sequaling and not good in the wet.

Exactly my previous experience. But those replied tyres noise... I dont really remember tyres noise is that bad. Actually I wanted to get another set but cant find anyone with stock near my area. I went for Primacy 3ST and I think a bit disappointed by the braking performance.

Primacy 3ST is very old tire and not performance oriented so not surprising.

change to YOKOHAMA FLEVA V701 , can feel the car have better grip that previous TOYO CR1 ,have a bit road noise but since already got mod full exhaust system so make no much different .

Overall i satisfy with the result .

I'm also contemplating v701 vs RE004 vs PS4/PS5 for my next tyres. Any feedbacks/suggestions?

Currently using v701 agreed there's some noise/squeeling but the dry/wet brake grip is very good.

Ps4/5 > Re004 > v701. I assume your size is 16 or bigger ya cuz if smaller there's no ps4/5, only ps3.

Yup 16 inchi. Ok liddis I got no doubt to go for PS4/5 already. Can't wait to experience higher performance than v701
