Hi all,

I recently purchased a rm 120 bluettoth headset and eagerly wanted to try it out on uncharted 2's multiplayer. But i have encountered some problems. Of first of all, i have a hunch that its my wireless connection im using, thats causing me the probs but im not 100% sure on it.

1)There's a lot of static when i speak. Like when i say something,my words will be accompanied by background "shhhhhhhhhhhh" sound.

2)I stopped being able to listen to what my other friends are saying when i have my headset on. Under the audio device settings in my ps3,i set it so that the output device is my tv.

Can anyone shed some light on my issue here? I think it could be that :
a)i didnt set up the mic properly
b) im using crappy wireless connection
or
c)my mic is crap.

probably the mic's fault.
or try going into the mic settings and tone down the mic volume(there's a specific option solely for mic volume)

dont.
set the output to your mic instead.
problem when you set it to your tv is that you will have to raise the volume of your tv, there by increasing your chances of the mic picking up the tv's sound, which would probably cause interference with the mic.
since your mic already has a built in speaker, set the output to your mic.

Just buys PS Eye and can double up as Mic...no need to think about pairing and can later use with Wand Controller and it only caost about RM30 to RM50 more.

Hi,

I am using the Sony PS3 bluetooth headset, just got it.
I tried using it, but noticed that my mic will pick up the game sounds from the game I play (coming from my tv speakers), so I will almost constantly transmit. Anyone know how to avoid this?
Do you have the same problem?

I tried to go to settings, but could only set my mic volume to Off or 3 or the highest, the options 1, 2 and between 3 and highest was not possible to set?

Oh yeah, I am more than happy to know that my stereo bluetooth headset is working with my PS3..without a problem. So, besides using it for games, i use it to pick up calls from my phone.. And, the best part is I can use it with my netbook or cellphone to listen to mp3 songs in stereo and full bass; Wirelessly.. Oh by the way, you can change the headpiece according to your liking. SE, I love you. For just RM150, it's irresistible. Google HBH-DS200. Pure Awesomeness. Old model nevertheless.
