I would have to say DeathAdder. I tried the Lachesis in stores...it's just that its ambidexterity is not really gripping...for me at least. But nevertheless, it's a great mouse. But if you already have a DeathAdder, it's not worth upgrading...unless you have a fetish for mice with venomous names.

no lh, just try Lachesis also. but felt that Lachesis more comfortable to my hand. Did not know why other think opposite of me laugh.gif laugh.gif (read: DA better than Lachesis)

To each, his/her own. DeathAdder is built ergonomically for the right hand user, so it should fit us right handers better. Well, if you like Lachesis, go on and purchase it...or better yet, wait for the Boomslang CE.

Boomslang CE how much ?

QUOTE(Everdying @ Dec 18 2007, 09:44 PM)
if porsche made a mouse, it would be called the boomslang.

but for those who dunno about the boomslang.
its like the uhh...porsche of the mice world tongue.gif
sleek aluminium shell, rubberised back, sides and buttons as per standard.
it also looks much bigger than it feels, due of cos to the wider buttons which of cos help to stabilize the mouse like how a F1 car is wide and stable tongue.gif
the mouse also is very low, so deathadder fans stay away.

DA height = 42.5mm
CH height = 41mm
CE height = 35mm

for those moving over from CH, DB etc...the size of the mouse takes just a little getting used to especially for those who play fingertip control style.
gripping it also takes some slight adjustment as your ring finger will be slightly spread out, tho its nothing that a CH or DB user cant adapt to.

and for those who palm the CH or DB but wishes for a bigger mouse, the CE is the answer to your prayers.

just one drawback for me.
since im using a clothpad, i can feel extra friction coming from the bottom mouse feet. Whereas both my DB and CH feel extra smooth.
perhaps thats why the package also contains extra mouse feet tongue.gif

sensor? nothing to say cos everything has already been said about it.

Everdying,

Do u know anywhere i can test this mouse ?

Might want to get this mouse also because its height.might suitable to me.but need to test first.where i can test it ?

Tarantula feels like a Laptop style keyboard. Great reaction to me, but some complain there's no full backlighting.
The Lycosa on the other hand, has more of a Rubber feel, but still an excellent keyboard.
My thoughts on the Lycosa are above.

As for my Starbucks escapades? Will let you know tomorrow as I'll whack out a few rounds of Call of Duty 4 with the CE tongue.gif

Oh yeah, will get the Piranha headset when it's out for my Skype needs tongue.gif

Lycosa on bright light ok or not. I mean lycosa key does it readable on bright day laugh.gif
