Boomslang CE > Lachesis any day, both sensor and design and COLOR.
Some how, I haven't any confidence in laser sensors as of yet. Sure they have high dpi, but can they withstand quick drags? |

QUOTE(mois @ Nov 4 2007, 08:44 PM) Its actually well priced for a USB headphone. Icemat and Steelseries both cost 460 and above. But remember this aren't for music, so don't go complaining that it doesn't sound good when you're playing songs. |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Nov 4 2007, 10:31 PM) the problem is...the icemat and steelseries also dont sound good for music, even tho they claim otherwise. I know bro, I know.i have a steelsound 4H which has the exact same drivers as the way more expensive 5H, and it sux for music. for games of cos its good... but the mic is another piece of crap...doesnt pick up as well. my old logitech RM100 headset had a much much much better mic. and the way it goes now seeing how razer has a damn fascination with blue...and im tempted to get the lycosa...just see how So never use gaming headsets for music. Leave them to do their job, which is to game. Want good music? Get a good headphone amp and a AKG K701 /AKG fanboy mode off im like 500 bucks away from a K271 dam |

QUOTE(zx7177 @ Nov 5 2007, 09:24 AM) Bass isn't very strong, soundstaging is wide, instrument and vocal seperation is pretty good. And the mids are pretty rich. Vocals, percussion and string instruments sound very good. But, depth of bass isn't something to shout about. Needs an amp to add fullness to the sound. Anyway where can you find a K171? If I can't get enough cash or I decide to be a miser, K171 should be good for my ears QUOTE(Everdying @ Nov 5 2007, 09:21 AM) Exactly, no pun intended. QUOTE(Punish @ Nov 5 2007, 01:10 PM) i got 2 set of razer deathadder....i found out tat my new deathadder a little different than the other one....the color of glowing light different, the label under the mouse oso different, and the original firmware of my new one ver1.10 while the other one was v1.21....but both of them feel the same. Different batches for sure.i dont thing its imitation product....maybe different batch.....comment GTG This post has been edited by sean392: Nov 5 2007, 02:50 PM |

Laser 3G is only available on the Lachesis. Its not even released yet, and not many people has access to the demo/test units. Pretty unrealistic question no?

QUOTE(Everdying @ Nov 15 2007, 01:57 PM) you know...looking on razer blueprints. Just went to razerblueprints to see what sort of problems.i havent seen so many initial complaints on lachesis ever since the viper was released... and viper of cos has long been discontinued... I see what razer claimed for 3G laser, still under performing for low sensi. Well, thats to be expected, laser, although improved, still doesn't cut for low sensi. Should be a fine high sensi players mouse though. The 64 bit OS issues, well is to be expected, it is still a new product, whether its a rushed release or not, we'll never know =/ or do we? |

QUOTE(t3chn0m4nc3r @ Dec 11 2007, 10:37 PM) 2nd rig perhaps... i own both Lachesis and copperhead now... can see the pics in my friendster... It's a known Lachesis problem. Razer has not issued it as a hardware or software problem, to put it simply, overly sensitive sensor.Anyway... any lachesis owner here who experience the cursor move by itself...? |

QUOTE(zx7177 @ Dec 31 2007, 07:24 PM) eh eh , all razer mouses now are optical/infrared/laser . thus they all are descendants of the viper . the original boomslang had a ball , neither male nor female Here is where you're wrong. The Boomslang did have a ball correct. But it used optical sensors to TRACK the ball.@everdying Yeah, the Viper was that bad =.= This post has been edited by sean392: Jan 2 2008, 10:33 AM |

QUOTE(zx7177 @ Jan 2 2008, 03:56 PM) Nah I don't hate the Viper, its just that the optical sensor can't keep up with low sens play. @Punish Everglide Monstermats and Razer Mantis' use the same cloth tech, but it definitely is different in terms of feel. I also thought that the Mantis speed was quite a bit quicker than the Monstermat. Actually, I shifted from Steelseries pads because of the DeathAdder, so I actually even thought the Monstermat was too quick =/ p/s I use the Fnatic pad as well. It's the best for DeathAdders. It tracks best on it other than hard surfaces and a selective other clothe pads. |

QUOTE(dkcc87 @ Jan 10 2008, 09:01 AM) I wonder why Thx certified speakers are always so expensive..although i know that the sound quality are better..but it's a bit too costly for a 2.1 speakers rite? Because audio is expensive technology. THX is a just a stamp of quality approval which means the Mako is able to retain performance at very loud volumes. If you think thats bad, wait till you see Dragonfly audio cables. I don't recall the price exactly, but I think my dad was quoted RM500 per meter i think. QUOTE(Everdying @ Jan 10 2008, 12:41 AM) no way...my gibbies are never leaving my side...i shall be buried with them even Good. I go dig your grave for the Gibby's ok ? XD and i shall learn the fine art of changing leds in razer stuff from BLUE TO GREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ooh, Razer Destructor eh? Now time to see whether those blokes who cry foul when their laser mice gets bashed for not being able to sustain high speed movements. kekekek This post has been edited by sean392: Jan 11 2008, 12:40 PM |
