Downfiring speakers all come with one weakness. It has to be on a very hard surface like glass. Else, mids and highs usually get drowned by bass. Vocals sound like honks and that isn't good.
The staging of the sound, I guess it probably will work as marketed. But well, since its omni-directional I do wonder how the audio imaging will be like.
