Has anyone here been on a keto diet?

Please share your experiences and has it helped to achieve your objective?

I been trying out this diet but finding it difficult to stick to it.

Sound interesting. Purely fat diet or fat + protein but cut down the carb ?

Some medical ppl said keto actually harmful.

im not doing full keto, i still take half or 1/3 bowl of rice for lunch and dinner.
Most important is the bfast where i fast for 16 hrs from 7pm (after dinner) to next day 11am. I will have my brunch with low carbs meal. (This is most important)
I also have my lunch at about 1pm. U can have more food in lunch to avoid hunger in between meals. No snacks in between.

Intermittent fasting is to "train" the body to utilise fat as energy source. Of coz u can't start fasting for 16 hrs from day 1 la. I start with 12hrs fasting, then slowly delay 30min or 1 hr every week.

But i actually lost too much weight so now i gain back about 4kg to maintain. lol

If keto is harmful for the body, then being overweight 100% will bring more harm. So u choose. lol

I started being on a keto diet on 1/1, weighed 127kg and I followed a 5:2 system where 5 days on and weekends off.

Brisk walk 40 minutes each day and try to keep a more active lifestyle.

Weighed on 1/3 at 115kg.

However it does seem my blood pressure and blood sugar levels saw a reduction too as a doctor I saw in earlier this month recommended I could get away with a lower dose of hypertension medication.

I dont have high bp, but i too experience lower bp after losing weight. Previously my bp was about 130/90 now easily 112/70 and other minor improvement, much less goat attack, etc.
