It is so rare to see the a pair of hornbill making a nest for breeding.

Thats not real hornbill of sarawak.. In sarawak they were bigger than this

I also not sure what is the species but only certain it was a species of hornbill. This type I used to see it when I was small at Teluk Intan area.

Seeing them alone feel so tranquil from the distance.

Yes there are hornbill but smaller compare to sarawak hornbill species

You got any photos them in the nature that you manage to take the photos ?

It is common to see hornbill at Sarawak public area ?

The state bird of Sarawak and Malaysia is the Rhinoceros hornbill

You are right about the size, the bird in the picture is a Oriental Pied Hornbill, 1 of the smallest species of hornbills.

Fun fact: There are 8 species of hornbills found in East Malaysia, but 10 species in Peninsula Malaysia!

Long time ago i saw this bird at my village.. I thought they came flying from sarawak.. Never know they also got some in peninsular

Surprisingly after 1 year has passed, I still get to see them around. This pair looks quite comfortable with the human activity within the village.
