I saw that the latest comparison between both of these brokers was around early 2021 on reddit, saying that account opening and customer support was super slow. And so I wanna see if there're any big changes that can affect my choice of broker. I am currently most concerned with the differences in quality of account registration, funding, and withdrawal between both of the brokers. Can anyone tell me the difference? How much time did you take to register and fund your account? If you needed customer support to complete the process, how quickly did they respond?

Btw, did you know TDA is banned in Msia and we can't really download the app from the apps store?

Anyway, TDAmeritrade registration is super long, there's like a thousands things to fill in and will take them a long time to process. And mine got rejected (during MCO) because I didn't have a passport. I'm about to sign up again with them just for diversification purposes.

Meanwhile, I'd recommend just go ahead with IBKR, the forum here is very active and everyone is using it.
