You can also try to include coconut fibre mattress as one of your options. Nice and firm (for me).

Well..what type of sleeping position you are?
different sleeping position would recommend different fabric of the mattressXD

I tried Sonno before but you will have to check whether does it hurt the elderly's back when they try to change their sleep position.

May I know how does the coconut fibre mattress work as you mention that it's nice and firmer?

other than this, i suppose hygiene of the mattress does affect on the sleeping quality too especially for the elderly. if you need one you can get mattress services from coway, they can help you to clean the dust and mites from the pillow and bed.

I don't think I could ever buy mattresses or pillows without being able to try and lie on them for about 5 minutes at the very least.

Exactly, if the mattress has dust mites, it might cause allergy or they might have dust mite bites which eventually can't sleep comfortably. I didnt knnow that coway provide service like this? Have you try?

agree. its really a problem if got mites bcs it can cause a health problem too. so its best to get some type of cleaning service, like the one i mentioned before frm coway. esp for people who are prone to allergy and dust, its really useful to prevent frm getting worse. i think u can ask the service for any type of matress brand
