Hi,recently i had a discussion bout my kid's allergy and quite shocked as she's never had allergy before back home its at the day care..her skin seem to be spotty doctor say most likely skin sensitive .Anyway, her condition has stabilised after medication she's allergic to dust. So we started cleaning but daycare tough.
But we felt her coughs is maybe related too. What to do ya?Hmmm no choice cos that daycare only nearest to my place and affordable.

Huh, allergy on children is quite a serious thing especially when it is not genetic cause

I think it's better directly discuss with the daycare

At least daycare can take action directly and may know what's the allergy causes came from..

yea and can maybe recommend them to replace the mattress, or get a mattress cleaning service or maybe put on lotion before sleep. this usually happens bcs the mattress is old and the mattress is already super dirty inside

Do daycare use sanitiser gun on her skin? That may cause allergy

Probably you can try to discuss with the daycare centre about your situation and let them know about your concern? Because last time I had the same issue like you but I talk to the teacher and they understand my situation and they try to like clean the entire place which I really appreciate it.

that could be a possibility too. but if thats not the case, we can rule out the sanitiser. its common that kids get allergy from mattress, theres alot of bed mites that can give skin rash

That could be the main reason, it happened the same to my kids also. My daughter sneezes and happens to have some red rashes on her skin.

Dusty could be the reason. Should ask them to make sure their place is clean.

Depends what content they use in sanitiser gun. Some use diluted Dettol some use sanitizing liquid.
If its too strong it may cause skin allergy.

My daughters too. I kept some medication handy in my hand bag for emergency.

yup.. sensitive skin needs more hygeine care bcs its really easy to get those things. recently i heard coway has a mattress care service. they can do the deep mattress cleaning that u cant really obtain from normal manual vacuum cleaning, bcs of their technology.
