It's a 6 months waiting period for those who order now
Toyota said it's overwhelming on this model, chip shortage, need to import from Thailand bla bla bla. (wondering why still easier to spot a Ferrari than a new Camry nowadays)

have u tested the new engine + gb? how was it? Test drove the pre-facelift last time (old engine, 6 gear), it kinda lazy engine feeling.
*
haven't got chance to test drive, just start the car, play some music, let my wife sit behind then ordered Maybe next week I go for a test drive.
But many reviewer said new DF +8at is very promising, should be able to complete the century sprint around 8.5s

all D segments getting higher price nowadays. all play into rm200k. Accord current gen can get around 150k+ to 160k if after rebates. thanks to low sales.
*
Ya, Miss those days when D-segment selling below 150k, like the good old day Camry, Accord, Cefiro 2.0
The current Accord selling 178 & 187 for full spec (Retabe 15K for 2021 model), so it will be 163 & 172

Hardly see any new gen accord and camry OTR, as you paying for 200K, some might say why dun top-up a bit and get a E-Segment.
For me, I'm looking for a worry free car, not a "badge" car at lowest spec. I believe in future, H&T is much more easier to maintain than B&M brand nod.gif

Theres quite a number in klang valley. Everyday can see them

But the backlight... At night only half lit, the stapler design everything just so off. Before dynamic force facelift people talk about which and what. After dynamic force and the backseat boss upgrade ppl talk about buying lexus ES for price of toyota and naturally it becomes a no brainer.

At 200k + mazda 6 and passat also will be a lesser choice only to specific executives who takes driving mechanics over passenger comfort.
*
Indeed, many are thinking this Facelift is same to ES250 due to same Chassis, Engine, Gearbox.
But Lexus is a Lexus, there are performance damper to absorb excessive body roll, and more "atasness exterior/interior" and more noise reduction.

But camry is not far from the benchmark

i love the look of new Arteon, just saw it this morning Odr (b4 this via youtube). considering the RV of VW, in general, might be one of the lists to consider replacing my 7 years old Accord.
*
I believe Arteon is a more fun car to drive, nevertheless its a conti car.
but i don't have good impression with VW, as I always heard complain from VW owner, not sure if they make the car more reliable nowadays.
My friend brought a VW Passat CC, end up is a frequent visit to the VW workshop.
And my cousin brought a Vento, its the price for vios to buy, but the maintenance fee never friendly. doh.gif
But that is 3 years ago la, maybe they solve those issue d

almost not seen yet odr. Either the delivery takes time or does it lack of sales?

First batch Camry FL mostly become a test drive / Show car d, only few percentage are sold.
They are some branch got their hand on very limited new stock this few months, but the next batch have to wait at least 4 months, some showroom even given a waiting period of 11 months.
Maybe because this is CBU (Thailand)
