Based on your budget I think these are the few models that you may consider:
1. acer nitro 5 2. acer swift x 3. microsoft surface book 2 4. asus chromebook flip 5. apple macbook air (higher price) Good luck! |

i suggest getting AMD laptop because most likely CPU is much needed.
You'll want a decent AMD CPU, mid end GPU, SSD, more than 16GB of ram if possible (or upgradeable). Depending on what you run, most are CPU heavy, and only use GPU acceleration sparingly that a high end GPU is not needed. SSD is helpful if you need fast disk access for your projects but you do need storage as they can be big so you can put them there after you are done. Ram depends on software you run. Intel laptops dont have the needed horsepower compared to AMD. Avoid dell and HP. |
