Ayam today received a letter from RHB regarding fire insurance. As you know, the house has my wife and my name on it. Suddenly, the letter received today mentioned " 2 OTHERS AS OWNERS'. Does that means the house have 4 names? Really shocking to see this Did anyone encounter the same thing from RHB?

In insurance term, policyholder and policyowner can be same or different person.

In your case, you and your spouse are named as holder and owner plus RHB as the chargor.

If you buy a medical insurance for your child, you are the holder and your child the insured (owner).

So do you mean like this?

For example:

Holder 1: Ali
Holder 2: Siti
Owner 1: Ali
Owner 2: Siti

Ali, Siti and 2 other as owners (Ali and Siti) and RHB Bank Berhad as chargee

Means no problem? Do I need to go to the bank to get a clarification on this?
