Since CPO is going up so much (some said will reach RM 9K), how do you think plantation stocks will play out?

Currently, plantation stocks are undergoing some correction from a high 1-2 weeks ago, is it anything to be worried of?

Personally, I think such high prices are unsustainable and if you were some producer buying lots of palm oil, you'd be doing your best to source cheaper alternatives right?

A simple search and i found one of the major causes which pushes the high cpo prices.

https://www.thestar.com.my/business/busines...palm-oil-prices

yes, this was a bit dated, albeit in february, but it's still relevant and did not change much.

Meanwhile, someone claimed that the demand is low and too much of supply and hence that's why the price cannot sustain.

Well, i do agree that the high cpo price is not sustainable, but clearly someone seems like posting another out of the thin air info again, in almost every corner of this forum.

You already google and found the answers doh.gif

Just go find the major palm oil customers and you will realise demand is low and stockpile is high back end of last year doh.gif
