I activated my no. for Astro Hotstar when it was rolled out last year. Then, at the same time, I have UniFi Ultimate Pack, which grants me a free Hotstar account. Last month, I already activated via UniFi, and instead of using my no. to activate for UniFi, I used my sister's no. I got an SMS after that it was successful but without mentioning it is for which no., I assumed it was for my sister's no. which I used for activation.

This morning, I received an SMS from UniFi that it is ready to use under my no. doh.gif

Now my Hotstar shows two sets of accounts (I think?).

Subscribed to Disney+ Hotstar Yearly
Subscription valid till: 31 May 2022

Subscription to Disney+ Hotstar 2 Years
Subscription valid till: 17 May 2024

How does this work now? I'm concerned about the no. of devices that can be connected at the same time...

Thanks for the info. I also have Astro Hotstar under the same number that's on record for my Unifi account. I was planning to do the same as you, activating Unifi Hotstar with a different number. Looks like that's not going to work.

I suppose changing the number that's on Unifi's record to a different number before activating Unifi Hotstar could work. But bet it will mess something up.

I called UniFi and they asked me to screenshot my Disney Hotstar+ subscription and send an email to them. I will probably do it later.

"SWU" stand for Stay With Unifi. Maybe now any user include those newly sign can change since JasonTheGreat said can walk in. What I can say..... good luck to try.
*
Yeah, the only thing is TM Point only opens during working hours. I will ask my sister to try her luck then. 300Mbps is not bad for 129.

I replaced my BTU 4 years ago when I couldn’t get the speed I subscribed to. That time TM had already started charging RM 53 for premise visits if it’s not their fault. I wasn’t charged with anything.

soonwai and whoever interested in changing mobile no. for Disney+ Hotstar. We can change mobile no. now, I have already switched to my desired mobile no.

Alert: A lot of images ahead

Link: https://activate.unifi.com.my/ott/profile.aspx

After logging in, you will see the “Change mobile no.” link.
user posted image

Fill in the necessary and new mobile no. I also changed to a new email address.
user posted image

After keying in the security code sent to existing no., the subscription will be transferred to new no. It is already successful, as shown on this page.
user posted image

Disney+ Hotstar app:

Before, no. is changed. Green is the Astro subscription, and red is the UniFi subscription.
user posted image

After no. is changed, only left Astro subscription on old no.
user posted image

UniFi subscription on new no.
user posted image

By the way, I checked back the UniFi link, and the “change mobile no.” link is no longer visible after I changed to a new no. Maybe it has limitations and a grace period before transferring to another no. I’m not sure, but this is good enough for me! Finally, we can have four devices playing simultaneously with two subscriptions. Not that we always watch it this way, but why not since they are all legit subscriptions?

Yes, earlier I thought it only opens on 17th June but seems like it is open now for changes.

You cannot unless you cancel Movies pack. Otherwise, do like what I did, use two mobile no. I used to have two subscriptions under one account too, wasted. sweat.gif

One question: after performing this change, does it only affect the Hotstar alone?

or does it also change the mobile number registered for fibre account ownership?

would be bad if i change to my sibling's number and he ended up getting fibre account-related SMS ... instead of me receiving nothing and thinking everything hunky dory.
*
Yes, the change only affects Hotstar. UniFi did alert that if I want to change my contact for UniFi, I will need to contact them. Refer to this screenshot, the footnote:

My mobile no. remains the same on MyUniFi app, nothing is changed.

Hai...anyone know how to push unifi to install unifi in new apartment?
VP in may this year

High rise should fight for TIME but usually, developers already contacted ISP for installation before VP.

Mine is TM though we wished it was TIME...

Most of the TM Points don't open on weekends. https://home.unifi.com.my/support/tmpoint
And not all services can be handled by TAD.

its 20222 and yet they maintain that kind of mentality ... 5 working days a week for service industry ... bullshit  tongue.gif

Honestly, they used to open a few TM Points during weekends. I used to go to the one at UTC Pudu after working hours until one fine day, they told me they already converted to TAD. I wanted to apply for relocation that time and directed me to go to TM Point Quill City Mall which operated 7 days a week, following mall operation time. Unfortunately, that's also closed. Now back to the one that follows working days. bangwall.gif
Last time, TM Point Menara TM also used to open half-day on Saturdays, now also no more. doh.gif

Moving backward. puke.gif

I have my place now and installed with Maxis Fibre; I didn't relocate my UniFi account there though I would love to laugh.gif so I have kept it at my sister's house since 2017.

We have done an ownership transfer in our hometown TM Point; nobody was there when we did the transfer; everything was done swiftly.

Now the account is my sister's, and she still enjoys my discount - RM 129 for 500Mbps. Initially, we thought no contract was attached, but any ownership transfers will trigger another 24 months' contract. laugh.gif

What, up/down grade renew contract, change owner also renew contract?
Only TM right
*
Yes, that's right. Not sure if only TM, but that's the case now with my ex-UniFi account. tongue.gif
Luckily my sister lives on landed property, so she doesn't have any better option; moreover, the package pricing is not bad. Of course, she will retain this account as long as she can, so 24 months contract is not an issue.

Woohoo! Went to TM Point Shah Alam and applied for RM129 for 300Mbps. I didn't know about this until I saw KIOSO facebook sharing. Previous I was on 100Mbps RM129 package. No more contract.
*
Yeah, it was shared here for months. laugh.gif tongue.gif
I wanna ask my second sister to try her luck too as she is also on 100Mbps for RM 129.
