You just install unifi?
Your unifi got public ip or not? (100mbps or below plan does not have public ipv4 ip)

If u are in CGNAT network,ur torrenting speed will be very slow.
*
Yup, downloading torrent behind CGNAT network will be extremely slow. TM is slowly implementing CGNAT into their network for the 100Mbps package and below.

Any Reddit users here? Anyone able to access Reddit reliably? Mine doesn’t seem to want to load. Loads the homepage but can’t load specific subreddits like the Malaysian one.

Tried both ipv6 and 4. Using the mobile app
*
Yup, had the same issue here. Ok after using 1.1.1.1 app.

Slow loading on reddit with or without VPN.

Routing to Fastly network seems like totally fine, should be Reddit issue.
*
Slowing loading on Unifi without VPN. With VPN is ok.

Avoid using the fiberhome SR1041Y router, it sucks.

It is better to use your own router, I recommend Asus routers. They are stable. So far no issues using them.

Hi guys, I’m wondering, when TM replace your modem and you are using your own router, will TM set it up for you? Or you have to do it on your own? Thanks
*
Might need to setup on your own, they might be not familiar with your own router. What model is your router?

The streamyx service will be terminated by phases.

Normally Streamyx services will be completely terminated once fiber optic services already available in the area.
TM will ensure that all streamyx users in the area have migrated to fibre.
*
Yup, done in phases once all the users in that certain place have been migrated to fiber infra.

For example at my parents place they have removed the copper cables leaving only fiber cables on the pole. They decomm and removed the old TM copper distribution box only leaving the fiber cable distribution box.

At least fix cabotage issue also okay already, or even TM international routing

Nothing seems to be happening lmao
*
TM lobbying power is strong here, TM will keep denying it that is not their problem.

What TM can do to solve international routing issues is to peer up with better good quality Tier 1 network providers as they have efficient and less congested network routes. But this do cost much more money to TM.

But Time ISP did this, and they peered up better good quality Tier 1 network providers. Time ISP have their own efficient international routing.

They're still around, but seems to slowed down on their infrastructure deployment
From what I've heard, really bad after sales service
Long down time because they don't have enough technicians
*
Yup, better stick with TM for better reliability and stability.

Currently using the router from TM when I upgraded to SWU3.0 - DLink AX3000 Wifi 6 router.

When I’m in the same room as my router or using Ethernet, I’m getting 500Mbps download speed. But when in another room, the speed drops to 100Mbps - even though it’s only 3 metres away from the router. Seems like having 1 wall significantly drop the speed. My entire condo is only 800sqft.

Is this an issue with the DLink router (should I buy a better one?) or is this something that TM can fix?

Your router seems to be the problem.

Tips to improve Wi-Fi coverage:
1. Keep your wireless router surrounded by open air, away from walls and obstructions to prevent interference and overheating.

2. Place your router in the center of your house, if possible, so the signal can reach each corner of the house with ease.

3. Avoid heavy-duty appliances or electronics, since running those nearby can impact Wi-Fi performance.

4. If your router has external antennas, orient them vertically to bump up coverage.

5. It can even help to elevate the router—mount it high on the wall or on the top shelf to get a better signal.
