How is your lock doing? A shop told me that push pull models which are fully automatic (deadbolts extend and retract automatically) need more strength to push or pull as there is no door handle to retract the latch?

Also, apparently, the same shop did not recommend push/pull models as the latch may sometimes get stuck due to the expansion/contraction of the wooden door due to the change of temperature/weather in Malaysia... hmm.gif

Hi, does anyone currently using ORVIBO digital lock for their home and how is the feedback so far? Thanks!

I was thinking of getting the Orvibo C1 but I came across this sad.gif

I'm not sure if getting the lock but never ever connecting it to the internet/bluetooth or any other wireless protocol will minimize risk or not?

4 months in and so far all works fine. i dont think i use alot of strength or effort to open and close door. however i do notice that if i close the door lightly sometimes the mortise do not fully engage - it engage halfway ... door is still lock but cannot open, will need to push in to fully engage the mortise then only can open again

Thanks for your response. "Mortise do not fully engage", do you mean the deadbolts does not extend/register?

the ones in green will fully lock
the one in red will not go in fully if sometimes i close the door lightly. so when this happen the door cannot open cause its not register as close. and cannot open cause the ones in green are fully engaged so preventing you from pulling the door open.

Thanks a lot. You echo-ed what Locks n More (a smartlock shop) told me about the latch getting jammed due to contraction and expansion of the wooden door.

Can your issue be remedied by making the hole for the latch bigger then?

Cannot cause the latch hole has metal casing in it.. its a 1 pcs case.

its really no issue for me, when this happens, i just push it to close and then it works fine.

Ohh so just push it in a bit and it is fine then?

Were there any instances where you really got locked out of your own door because either the deadbolt or latch malfunctioned?
