so lets assume the ac and installation is worth 1500
service worth rm150 x 10 is 1500

but pay 88 x 5 x 12 is 5280

means you pay extra 5280-3000= rm2280 as interest

If you are topping up gas once a year you have a leak.

Then yeah this makes no economic sense unless failure of unit and warrant a replacement in year 3 or 5 Which more or less is the difference

I know. But here in Malaysia ppl like to refer to aircon size by their input power. Look at the spec, 1.2 kw is 1.5 hp.

most models, 1hp give 9000BTU, 1.5 give 12000BTU and 2hp give 18000 BTU
