ermm..i think problems u mention is regarding to ps2 rite? and slim ps2? ehehe.. so this problem basically is because of 2 reason
- dvd disc itself not balance and scratch during spin.
- the center part that hold your disc is not balance.. makes your disc scratch during spinning. huhuhu...

how to fix it? replace the center part.. dunno what's the price..huhu..
