Maybe it's affected by storage condition? Most of them need to be stored below 30°c. Our climate exceeds that.

And we buy online, some parcels become really warm when received. Who knows how long they were left in the hot van during transit from delivery hub to recipients. Add in the interstate transit (for outstation buyers).... |

Such as night journeys?Even retail shops units are sent using lorry/expose to weather.. In addition, perhaps their original carton boxes will be able to insulate a bit. |

QUOTE(andise @ Mar 15 2022, 11:31 AM) i thought the fastest PCR Test is 5 hours. never know money can speed up PCR test chemical reaction. Actual rapid PCR is only takes 30mins in the labThe reason why it takes a long is because of logistics and administrative taking up most of the time QUOTE(MR_alien @ Mar 15 2022, 03:00 PM) buy expensive ones Where to get BinaxNow in Malaysia?if u can afford it or can find it....try abbott...but RM20+ overseas people use abbott can enter country, not required PCR they have a list of approved test kits...most of which u can't find here |

What can we do now? We all know that there are tons of false negative walking around. But at least the highly infectious one will show positive.
Honestly though, people need to stop saying "Normal flu", "allergies" la when they have symptoms.. cause based on my experience, all those who keep claiming "normal flu", "allergies" all end up being positive. (PCR tested). There was only one person who claimed "normal flu" recently and ended tested negative, but tested positive for dengue. So yeah that's different story. Actually it is true, not accurate. House saliva tests all -ve, the moment go clinic to do RTK with nose poking, all turn +ve.
If close contact or exhibit the symptoms, be extra cautious. |

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Mar 16 2022, 07:30 AM) no idea..don't ask me For thai price at 230 baht it reasonable compared to others in Thailand plus i don't think shops are gonna stock up RM20+ test kit because they know it's a hard sell almost nobody is gonna buy it all will go for the RM5.90 and below test kits...even salixium already got people complain expensive...what more abbott test kit even the one sold in thailand isn't binaxnow but already nearing RM30 ![]() Malaysia is just because the govt set a ceiling price which causes oversupply and then to fix the problem start a panic buy of test kit to fix the price goes higher QUOTE(nihility @ Mar 16 2022, 10:04 AM) Actually it is true, not accurate. House saliva tests all -ve, the moment go clinic to do RTK with nose poking, all turn +ve. Saliva test it is only good when you are already infected and rtk it is good for onset of symptoms before spreading to your body If close contact or exhibit the symptoms, be extra cautious. That’s why PCR it is golden standard because it account above both factors Malaysians are mostly retarded panic buying test kits because it is already proven not necessary to daily test but weekly it is suffice enough |
