Hi guys.

We all know that in Malaysia a foreigner can buy a property with a value of not less than 600k, but my question is the following: if I want to buy 2 with a value of 800k both, can I? or does it have to be exclusively 600k for a single unit ?

Thank you so much

Land matters are under individual state. Each have their own policy.

Approval are at their discretions without having to give a reason.

However buyers can appeal.

So is it possible or no  biggrin.gif  ?

To be honest i'm interested in KL, Selangor

The idea is to maximize instead of getting single unit at 600k, i prefer 2 at 800k for example

600k for a single unit i think its not so interesting

*While there was an announcement in Budget 2020 for new price thresholds, the Malaysian government saw a sudden reshuffle in the leading party, which led to the thresholds remaining the same for now till there is an official announcement confirming it.

There are probably a few terms that are local to Malaysia in here, so let’s pick it apart:

Thank you for your answer, ok i see so the price still 1millions and the 600k not applied

for the MM2H its a long story, they are asking for 1 million RM saving account and a Salary of 10k,  i was ready to buy if Govt give the right to live (foreigners with properties generally do not ask for work ) so at least give the right to live in the property like in Europe, in Spain if you buy a house you will have 1 year visa renewable (without work permit) and the foreigner will live and spend money and contribute to the country,  but Malaysia they want to sell properties to foreigners but without letting them to live and spend their money in the country  (go figure why)
Anyway my question was if in this case KL 1 Millions can buy 2 or 3 units or 1 Million is only for a single unit ONLY

As long is above the threshold, I dont think there is a restriction on number of units you can buy or sell then buy again.
