QUOTE(EyraYus @ Jan 20 2011, 10:09 PM) Anyone buying the new Blade 650r EFI? Look DAMN tasty, at RM22K, it have the potiental to kill off NInja250 market too. I did ask some shop about this model (that time I was shopping for 650cc bikes). Some of them say it's okay, just that when you need to repair the parts will be late, as most workshops don't keep parts for Blades. So if you have the patience (and another form of transport to cover the wait days), then go ahead. Pretty darn good value imho.In the end though, I settled for ER6F because I like the looks, and it would be my main form of transport, so I need to get something quite easily repaired and reliable |

In my opinion, how you look on the bike wont matter much. Coz what matters is that you like the bike and it doesnt make you feel weird (like hand too long until you have to bend it a lot while riding, legs too long until it feels like you have to bend it all the time when you put your legs down etc.).
Better if you go to the showrooms and sit on the bike and see if it feels right. If you're concerned how it'll look like, then ask someone to take a pic of you in it Since youre a pretty big sized guy, try looking at CBR250? I don't know if you'd like kawa bikes, but since you mentioned cbr earlier, i thought you might like honda more |

I'm using ER6F myself (also known as Ninja 650R). I'm rather average, 173cm, but I can put my feet flat on the ground with it. I look rather small for the bike haha.
I went to a showroom and completely fell in love with this bike, so that's why I get it. If you don't wanna get a big engine bike, kawi 250R ninja can be a good one, though it doesn't make sound as nice as CBR |

QUOTE(R a D ! c 4 L @ Jan 24 2011, 08:34 PM) definitely the black as i think the SE version's not worth it thought the colors are nice too, will be getting it within this year, save save save, maybe the 2011 version will arrive that time? Chear motor in puchong (around Teso area) have quite a number of kawasaki bikes in their showroom (you wont miss their shop as it is a corner lot and its painted in kawasaki green). I went and checked out a bunch of kawasaki's there before I confirmed that I really like what I have now btw guys is there any recommended showrooms in kl which you guys thought would be better to get a bike? |

QUOTE(R a D ! c 4 L @ Jan 25 2011, 09:32 PM) yeah that cheap =/ Depends on the center. I heard it can be as cheap as RM350 if you already have some other license, and can range up to RM800.i wont opt for Nazas, its like buying a car, would you go for a Naza? and like what rosstafa said its problematic to look for parts. Kawa on the other hand has loads of parts around malaysia, not to mention the distribution of service centers around kl. Thats why i went for kawa bikes. btw guys i still havent get my license yet |

QUOTE(Netto Hikari @ Jan 26 2011, 01:40 AM) O. i already got a B2 license. so if take B full have to enquire rite? but normally it cost how much? Ah if you already have B2, you can go to JPJ and renew your L first (this one will cost about RM40 or so). Then the amount you have to pay for class depends on the driving school. Smaller ones usually cheaper (below Rm400). The bigger companies like Metro and Perfect have more nonesense charges. Just go to the nearest one in your area, should be ok |

QUOTE(shadow111 @ Feb 17 2011, 10:43 AM) hey guys... I got myself a ninja 250r on oct last year.. all this while, i only hv b2 license which i plan to upgrade now. What I did was I go to JPJ myself and renew the L for B-full (cost me RM 45)any idea how much it cost to take b license and what is the procedure/step/etc? thanks. Then just find a driving school and tell them you wanna do the b full class (that 8-hours class) and the test. Depending on the place, it usually cost between RM300-RM500 for the rest (including the test) |

I know metro driving school uses ER6N for their learning and test. But they're a bit expensive
