proud owner of Naza blade reporting in! i'm very happy with this bike, enough power to smoke cars at traffic light and as this is my first bike, i'm quite surprised that it is quite easy to handle..

QUOTE(squalluz @ Mar 5 2010, 02:59 PM) I'm currently riding an EX5 Class1, and I'm also looking to buy a Naza Blade 250 in the near future. But I have a few lingering question about sports bike and its owners. Please pardon me if my questions sounds a bit silly. 1 - i bring my helmet along...and i wear my jacket all the time, because i'm sweating like hell inside 1 - I know for a fact that sport bikes owners don't store their helmet at their motorcycle when they park, and they don't put a Givi box behind the bike as it will not look good. So, when these guys park their bike, do they carry their helmets wherever they go? And how about their riding jacket, do they wear it all the time? Or they have to carry a bag where they can store the riding jacket and the helmet. 2 - Do they wear the knee & elbow protector, jacket, and riding boots every time they ride the bike? Or it's an overkill to wear it if I just want to commute to work. Can I wear a pair of running shoes when I ride? Will it make it harder to change gear, as the material of the running shoes is softer? 3 - When they buy stuff from the shop, how do they carry the stuff on the bike? Do they just hang the plastic bag at the bike's handle? Or do they bring a backpack along every time they go out. 4 - The motorcycle parking at my apartment is roofed, but not totally protected from the elements. If there's heavy downpour for example, my EX5 will definitely get drenched. Is it advisable to buy a sports bike with a parking space like that? Will it be bad for the bike? 2 - i wear crocs only 3 - i bring backpack along for small stuff..big stuff use car 4 - this one i don't know... |

QUOTE(squalluz @ Mar 5 2010, 03:25 PM) Thanks for the answers. You own a Blade 250R too right kapalterbang? yup just got my bike this week 1 - Hahaa.. It's like a swan on the lake. On the surface, it looks cool and poised, but underwater, its feet are paddling like crazy. But you're not tired of carrying the full-face everywhere you go? 2 - Is the gear paddle so easy to shift that you can wear slippers to ride? And another question, how often do you wash the bike? Do you wash it yourself, of you send it to a carwash. I ask because I never wash my EX5. It's for the built-in anti-theft function for the bike (it is to make sure the bike is too dirty/ugly that no thief will be interested in it i use my bike as a daily ride to my uni, so i'll bring the helmet with me..so far not tired..i left it in my studio..i dowan to lose rm300+...i bet those people who bought AGV, Arai, Shoei will carry their helmet all the time. there is an optional helmet carrying bag that can be bought so u can carry your helmet comfortably. I just washed my bike yesterday at car wash but my friend who have a Blade 250r also said that it is better to wash it by yourself, as it is not recommended to use high pressure water on the engine and fuel tank. |

QUOTE(EyraYus @ Mar 6 2010, 08:44 PM) never really get the chance to ride the 650R, and the naked 650 is rubbish in corner. So, just want to know, how does it feel with the R? mine 250r only, i think the top speed is around 180..haven't tested yet..my top until now 120 only Thinking about buying it (before getting engaged..) too coz its a V-twin, I have a fetish for v twin sound... the er6n sound too sissy... with the naked, 180 is easily reachable, looking at your body and its a full fairing bike, 200 should be ok right? oohhh how I miss sportbiking Added on March 6, 2010, 8:49 pm 1. Better still, go to a shopping centre or any parking spot that provide locker. riding jacket too. i hate taking my helmet and leather jacket wherever I go back then 2. Its up to you what to wear, wear what you feel comfortable. but remember, accident happen anywhere anytime. if you know AA (I hope he wont read this) he broke his arm, while riding a Apelia scooter at only 40kmj, wearing a Dainese jacket, and need multiple surgery. and yes, he is a former Malaysian champion. 3. Dont ride your bike if you are thinking of shopping 4. get yourself a bike cover at Sentul for RM40. But please no continuous direct sunlight. YOu say its roofed right so its ok |

QUOTE(EyraYus @ Mar 8 2010, 11:12 PM) owh 250R, ok. No as the 650 can only manage to reach 180kmj, 250r wont reach 180. corner tegak? first few month only la will give NKS sentul a visit in this week if i'm not busy..i think the newer 250r model can hit 180kmh, as the older model can hit 170kmh on redline..but 140kmh for me fast already mah, on 2 wheels i don't have the guts to go super fast.. yes NKS have it. cheap one. |
