My dad just refurbished his old old bike from the 1980's for sentimental reasons... its a honda raider, was wondering, what are the specs like lol...

haha, its about that, i stripped the engine down, measured it and the size came out to be 134.68cc

But what is this ATAC thing i see stamped at the side of the engine? i googled around and it came out to be some sort of valve or something for the engine, similar to kawasaki KIPS or yamaha's YPVS.

what is it actually? o.0"

nola, not vtec la -__-, but its similar because its a valve system.. more specifically its a valve system just before the exhaust system to give ultra high torque at a certain rpm band, it feels something like a turbo for 2-stroke bikes from preliminary views on the datasheets since it is the same as a NSR 250 and NSR400 lol..

but then.. since its an old bike, its hard to get the datasheet for the exact system for the raider .. or the manual of the bike itself :S



if anyone has a honda raider (year 1984?) manual please, please do let me know, want to Photostat it

the bike looks like junk without the cowling la ... but then again, can fly 170kmph, not bad for a 21 year old unmodified bike huh?
