guys im looking forward to get my 1st bike but im not sure which model is available in malaysia. Actually im looking for one which is around 150cc ~ 250cc range. Any suggestions?

I kinda like the honda cbr150r 2010 but my friend said its quite slim cuz im a tall person(182cm) he said the bike will look small with me on it. any other suggestions? the yamaha fz150i looks good but my friend uses it so im thinking of not getting it.

What are your thoughts?

In my opinion, how you look on the bike wont matter much. Coz what matters is that you like the bike and it doesnt make you feel weird (like hand too long until you have to bend it a lot while riding, legs too long until it feels like you have to bend it all the time when you put your legs down etc.).

Better if you go to the showrooms and sit on the bike and see if it feels right. If you're concerned how it'll look like, then ask someone to take a pic of you in it tongue.gif

Since youre a pretty big sized guy, try looking at CBR250? I don't know if you'd like kawa bikes, but since you mentioned cbr earlier, i thought you might like honda more
*
haha my friend said the same thing, go to show rooms and sit on it. =D i mentioned the honda 150 cuz its the 1st bike that pops out from google search, its a cool looking bike and yea i have to see it for myself i guess.

what are your ideas on kawa bikes? Ninjas?

Woot! What color you're getting?

definitely the black as i think the SE version's not worth it thought the colors are nice too, will be getting it within this year, save save save, maybe the 2011 version will arrive that time? brows.gif

btw guys is there any recommended showrooms in kl which you guys thought would be better to get a bike?

i`ll say Motosing Pudu. Welly Batu Cave is nice too. But the after sales service area quite expensive.
*
i went to pudu just now, yeah saw the shop and checked on the pricing, its about the same as what Cher Motors in Kota Damansara offers, slightly cheaper only. I went to Welly's batu caves, not really happy with what they're offering cuz of the Aeon Express thingy so its a no no from me.

Chear motor in puchong (around Teso area) have quite a number of kawasaki bikes in their showroom (you wont miss their shop as it is a corner lot and its painted in kawasaki green). I went and checked out a bunch of kawasaki's there before I confirmed that I really like what I have now biggrin.gif

I went to Chear Motors in Kota Damansara, so far its the cheapest I find and the service's good. I might end up getting my bike there. So i dont think ill check this one since its the same shop. Thanks anyway biggrin.gif

O.o

wow...this is something the opposite i check from the net dry.gif i thought its gonna be cheaper than ninja 250r. not sure if bike got those 300% tax on it but i found a website stating it cost around $4500 for ABS version while $4000 is without ABS.

tell me about it, it has to do with some AP thingy and the lack of authorized/official service centers around malaysia for honda bikes. Bikes are fukken cheap outside malaysia, and a Ninja250R in the UK cost only 375pounds OTR, in malaysia its 22000+ OTR. =/

Stupid taxes!

375pounds O.o? thats like 1k+ after converted.

Added on January 25, 2011, 9:10 pmbtw, wats yor view on the naza blade 250? it seems relatively cheaper among all.
*
yeah that cheap =/

i wont opt for Nazas, its like buying a car, would you go for a Naza? and like what rosstafa said its problematic to look for parts. Kawa on the other hand has loads of parts around malaysia, not to mention the distribution of service centers around kl. Thats why i went for kawa bikes.

btw guys i still havent get my license yet tongue.gif what's the payment needed? biggrin.gif
