im a owner of Kawasaki Victor here, this bike unattended for 5 years and i bring it back to life with original kawasaki parts,

Full overhaul, inspection, plus all coverage rm 3k.

the bike is running superb, and modded a lil for more power,

topspeed netherless a 2stroke bike 150cc could give, awesome. just petrol and 2t oil is heavy when u throttle more heavy.haha drool.gif

a 250cc 4stroke, without 4 cyclinders,impossible to catch up with this 150cc 2 stroke in stock form,

a new ninja250 r,yes could be if modded, stock,only mid torque,,end torque,.dead.. icon_idea.gif

IF youre looking for power,yes....

for daily ride, fuel consumption, hassle free=i guess u better go for FZ150i..as im getting a new one soon, hehe for fun ride.

@alexi
i see you own a 2T bike and know bike pretty well. I'm a new rider of KRR ZX150 and rode about total 300km now. Any suggestion on 2T oil brand? i understand 2T oil is pretty important and i'm not going to save up on 2T oil. and what bout 4T? we change every 5K km? any recommended brand?

i encounter difficulty on gear shifting. is a bit hard compare to my last bike FZ150 4T. i wonder is this normal? Any advise on maintaining my bike would be very much appreciated biggrin.gif

im a rider and owner of 3 bikes,

victor s,KRZ and ZX150 RR,

1 track use,1 street racing use,1 super stock use,

I recommend silkolene 2t Pro race, or get quicksilver 2t,ranged 20++

or at least semi sythtechtic which contains no carbons,at least tcw 30,or tc 30,graded..

for track i use silkolene fully race, rm 80 for 1 liter, its really hell a good 2t,.for race purpose only.

its proven shell vsx 2t contains carbon ,,,i can snap shot for u if u want,

better go for mobil semi sytechtic rm 25.80 or bhp..rm 20++

im using mobil full sytechtic rm 50 per litre, its good quality or u can go for BHP ones rm 33.80 only 1 liter..

at least its realiable and no carbon ..too many carbon will jammed up ur power valve.

guys, i was planning to change my 125z Cover set and i dont know if using back the 125z sticker or put with custom sticker would be better...

Any suggestion? If custom sticker, anyone knows where can i get them?

By the way, My bike have revived from many mechanic's abusement.
I've used to fix my bike at a workshop and it's been very worst. Before, i can whack 160KM/h within 8-10 sec.
Suddenly, i donno what that mechanic do, whack maximum also only 120 - 130km/h. i tried many workshop but
still the same. Then recently i send to a specialist on repairing, that guy revived my bike. Can whack till 150km/h
but it takes longer time to raise the top speed. Anyone knows how to shorten the time to speed up? after reach 100km/h, the bike seem to take time to rev up. i hope there's ppl who can give some suggestion.
*
it seems there's something wrong with the piston size, or carburetor settings, mainjet and pilotjet,
how old is this bike, how often u use it ?
if u wan to settle this problem and can whack 170kph.i can intorduce u to a shop,
where do u stay now ?

Where and how much?

RG is a very reliable, last time I rode this bike from Ipoh to Serdang non-stop 140-150km/h. Stop just to refill the fuel.
Not even one jammed not even hot jam. I think if I use my car maybe the radiator hose already exploded(yes i tried, and yes it exploded  vmad.gif  haha, satria car  sweat.gif )

at cheras area, probably need the mechanic to test and see whats the condition,
they will tell u the estimated cost roughly,

and suzuki rg original parts are hard to find nowadays..:eg:=the original disc plate..

tesco got castrol power 1 2t ? I would like around, been using vsx for 3 years. Yeah my 125z is pretty mint. stock and performing well.

I miss tank bikes - dunno why but got this urge all of a sudden, can't afford a 10k bike without trading in.

Regarding the NSR, it is in running condition, but the rc valve is broken, the engine is leaking heavily, the body is a bit out of place, fairing broken.

My current woes is finding a good mechanic to fix it with a reasonable price. That's the only issue.
*
Youre from penang? if ure at kl, i might recommend u to a shop who is having reasonable price and good job done on those 150 2 strokes Power Valve knowledge.

Added on September 8, 2009, 2:48 amYashiro, thanks for sharing. Nice bikes, all yours? tongue.gif
Question if you don't mind. Are those TZM rims you using on the track? What swingarm are those? Asking for a KIPS buddy of mine.

As for myself, I'd like to see the place where you'd recommend for PV bikes...

hi.friends..who can help me to solve this problem??
Actually im using ts 125 carburetor on my new lagenda ZR.
The modification that i done included:
-shark 55mm racing block
-High cam
-ts 125 carb,MJ-90, PJ-27.5
-racing clucth plate and spring
-spoket 14-33
The rest are standard..
The problem is that when i maintain the speed within 90km/j-110km/j, i found that the bike is cough, very hard to maintain that speed. It like something insufficient supply in fuel or air. Then the top speed is only 125km/j. How come??
*
If youre in KL COME TO Darma Motor alam damai cheras, and they will settle the problem for you,

might be ur pilotjet is not good enuff, and mainjet settings occurs

what exhaust ure using, is ur ts125 carb original or local ones.

if local i suggest u beta dun use it due to frequent settings runs when on a certain level of rpm's

Suggest uma racing 24mm carb.suitable for ur bike.

The MJ already changed to 90, the stock one is 85. and the PJ is 27.5 with the stock carb. The float is never touch it yet.
That situation is exactly what u said. When i start to pull the throttle until half, then the problem is solve and the bike start to accelerate quet faster. But it consumes more fuel and the top speed is only 125km/j. 4 liters petrol runs around 120km. So, i just maintain at the speed of 100km/j for daily use. Then that situation occurs again..
*
Try to go out and maintain at 40-60kmh speed,if ur speed does not stay in current speed for long time
try changing ur pilotjet

and ur mainjet try increasing to 95-100,if too rich u will feel the bike is vomiting, then u shud decrease the mainjet slowly ,until u feel it smooth, if too lean, not enuff fuel mixture, the bike feels light at startup range but topspeed it goes fade away, not recomended as ur bike will jamm,4 stroke wont easily jamm, but avoid it,2 strokes are sensitive to this issues.haha tongue.gif sudah kena, baru tau.haha..

my ex-wave 125 prev,done some mods,topspeed outmeter total 165kmh.

Uma racing 28mm carb,
Rivera high cam ,
head inlet and outlet port 1mm,
aluminium racing block 57mm and pistons,
faito racing cdi,
racing boy sport rims,
kayaba suspension,
ahm muffler racing,

The key to everything is the mainjet and pilotjet settings.thats all.my mainjet for this is only 105..LOLED

Moral of the story ,Please dont try this at the street, Please Unleash all your potentials at the track, and whenever u did a crash from there u learn,Mistakes are meant to be correct.

There's a difference wether ur fast on track or street, mostly street rempits live will be shorter due to unexccesive crash traninings, guidance,do and what not to do with the bike with extremely dead conditions.

It is not funny to wear full gear on a kapchai,or SCooter,or 150cc bikes.instead life is valuable..

Oi Taman Linkin..uat pe moto tu tido, bwk kuar gi test satu round nk x kat weekend, dah gian nih ..trekday 27sept bulan nih..harap jumpa wak kat sane. biggrin.gif
