Michelin PS3 or Michelin Primacy 4

Not many choices now. For me personally I'd only consider these 3:

Michelin PS3: probably still the best all rounder in this size for dry/wet/durability but the most expensive too.

Potenza RE004: better in the dry, probably just a bit lesser in the wet than PS3, but will wear out faster (tread wear only 220). Price I heard recently has increased a lot almost reach PS3 price

Maxxis I-Pro: best value for money, similar to the old Hankook V12E2 but with stiffer sidewall and less longevity (tread wear only 240). Price much cheaper than the 2 above. My son's Swift is using this now, pretty happy.

Primacy 4 is not available in this size, only got PS3 and XM2+.

Depending on the original tyre size and clearance.

195/60 R15 primacy 4 is suitable.
My original tyre size is 175/65 r15

Well he is asking specifically for that size so P4 doesn't have it. If we assume 195/55/15 is the ideal size already then 195/60/15 is too big of a replacement.

Well just another option if he found out that it also can fit.

Anyways, just go online and use the tyre calculator to see the size comparison to be much more accurate than just basing in the tyre size only.

All the tyre shop I went to say 195/55 is the ideal size but not really. 195/60 also fits. So do some more research I guess if he hadn't.

Which gen myvi you are driving? If not mistaken myvi 15in sport rim original is 185 55 R15, while 14in is 175 65 R14

Not driving myvi, was a Jazz.

Checked online that it shows 175/65 r15 as standard also.
If it is originally 185/55 then probably not good for 195/60 as it is too big.

Seems like 195/55 or 195/50 is the size to look for.

195/60/15 is too big for Myvi. For Jazz also best to use just 195/55/15.

Yep, once I know the original is 185/65 then it is too big. Just use 195/50 or 195/55.

195/60 or 195/55 is fine for jazz. Been using both fine.

Can use but handling more sloppy and acceleration heavier so not recommended. Only better comfort and higher ground clearance.

It's fine for hybrid got the extra oomph

Just want some comfort with thicker wall

if using 195/60 , i think 1.5cc powertrain for Myvi gen3 no enough to cover that power loss

Putting 195 will just make acceleration feel a bit hesitant.

Power loss if can be translated to if you feel it then it is subjective.

Overall 195 will feel grippier than 185 as it is a wider tyre. Like it or not you will have power loss when you increase the width of tyres when the engine output stays contant.

Your choice bruh. Since myvi original size is 185/60 then choose 195/55 or 195/50 tyre size, 195/60 is too big of a variance.

I changed from 175/65 to 195/60 and no regrets. Better comfort and traction during dry and especially wet. Not much different in fuel consumption or acceleration based on my observation.

The best investment in any car is a good pair of rims and tyre. Don't skimp on it. Choose the best that your budget allows.

I will using flow form rims as it will be lighter that original rims , then using wider tire 195/55 should can cover back the power lose , think this will works ...

Yep, if you can maintain or lower the total rim tyre weight then better.

Make sure get genuine good rims and tyre.

From my own experience just recently switching from Continental (ContactSport) to Michelin (PS4) - quieter, softer ride and feels grippier on the Mich., surer on wet road conditions.

195/55 R15 Myvi Gen3 owner here.
Currently using TOYO CR1 over 1.5 years, so far so good on dry & wet performance, pricing are RM175x4 (include install, balancing, alignment)

If you want to find mid range tires, budget not enough to XM2+, I recommend it.

I also been used GoodYear Triple Max (when i purchase myvi gen3 factory given tire, just so so, haven't 40k sudah habis)
Bridgestone Ecopia EP300, the performance was better than Toyo CR1, the pricing now was getting 200+ , so... sorry next time
Toyo Nano Energy3 (NE003),actually was CR1 when NE003 was discontinued, replace by CR1, NE003 was suckkkkk on wet performance...
