So I'm curious why after launching in Malaysia in January , so far all the local YouTube reviews are just interior/exterior without any test drive review? Does honda malaysia not allow it? Genuinely curious.

Overseas when launching new car for media test drive, car company will have the right to say what and when can be published. But this car I think owners don't know driving how long already... Maybe not enough car loan to media for shooting a proper review

Sure thing, coming from sporty next gen look to simple elegant conti look is hard to swallow. I heard design team this time is from usa, that's why.

But one thing for sure, interior is much more premium and buttons are solid and not toyish like previous gen. I heard nvh and ride comfort also increased.

saw demo unit up close when service my car at sc. had to bleach my eyes after that. damn ugly. toyota cross more hnghhh

Finally found a local review, but in mandarin (with eng sub)



Seems like ride refinement is much better with noticeable improvement in acceleration, outside noise insulation, and ride comfort.

why do you need a review when you can walk in to get a test drive?

and if you notice, actual test drive review for honda civic FC (previous gen) was done a few months before new generation came out.

either honda didnt 'encourage' the influencer to review it, or its too boring to review mainstream model.
