You gotta be real poor or real shitty with personal hygiene to get ring worms...
*
Not really lah. You can get it from physical contact from pets or even at the gym.

As long as your skin makes contact with the bacteria, then your skin gets it.

Many athletes have it at their feet too.

Lanciao la common.....its only common among physical sports like wrestling. You think she got do wrestling as a sport? In bed maybe la

I go gym a lot, I also get it too. As long as the skin have contact with any surface that has the bacteria, you'll get it too.

Apply anti fungal cream and it goes away already.

They call it ringworm but it's not exactly "worm". It's just the bacteria only that eats the outer skin.

ive been going to the gym consistently for 10+ yrs now.

5-6 days a week, mostly with intense training.

so far didnt get any "ringworm" yet

How it works is, someone who is infected would use the bench or equipment. Then the next unlucky person would use it get skin contact with the bacteria. That's how a person gets infected.

Or

Your pet dog or cat go outside, roll on the grass or play with other stray dogs who are infected too. Then they come back and have skin contact with you.

It's not exactly personal hygiene but really, what can you do to totally avoid it? Sometimes just unlucky.

Personal hygiene means spraying the bench with anti bacteria solution and wipe down. My gym has this. Yours?

I spray them but sometimes i lie down on the mat/floor too. I guess that's where it came from. sweat.gif
